3'' polish & wax kit.

First to to to address the the the other review, i i i would surmise folks buy this this this smaller 3'' kit already already already have the the the 6 inch and and and buy some some some extra pads for for for it also. that that that is what what what I did, what what what is disingenuous about about about that suggestion? on on on to the the the review. i i i have used used used many brands of of of other products and and and wanted to to to see if if if Griots was was was really that that that good. it it it is, i i i was really really really impressed with with with the clay and and and speed shine it it it took off off off more gunk and and and less paint than than than Meguires which which which was way way way too aggressive. i i i was nervous about about about using the the the polish and and and machine as as as everyone has has has seen some some some poor car "swirled" to to to death. not not not to worry it it it seems Griots products are are are all very very very gentle. as as as it was was was dusk when when when I was was was finishing up up up I won't really really really know about about about the wax untill tomorrow. the the the 6" machine is is is very good good good at least least least compared to to to the cheap Walmart buffer it it it replaces. the the the 3" machine is is is a different different different type by by by the way way way it performs when when when it is is is on but but but it still still still gets the the the job done done done admirably. these these these kits are are are the only only only way to to to buy them them them as Griots would would would just be be be too much much much for me me me to justify, even even even as good good good as it it it is, otherwise. i i i really don't like like like how most most most kits are are are put together, if if if you want want want to go go go all out, clay polish, glaze, wax and and and seal you you you have to to to buy several several several kits or or or piece it it it together at at at individual prices. i i i wish they they they would offer a a a full product line kit.

3" Groit's Polisher

I picked up up up the 3" polisher and and and test started it it it up after after after it arrived. it it it was very very very noisey, sounded like like like bearings or or or a bad gear. Amazon would would would not do do do anything since since since they stated it it it was a a a non returnable item. i i i contacted Griot's and and and they agreed to to to have the the the unit returned and and and replaced. new new new unit arrived within within within a week and and and works just just just fine.Be careful what what what you purchase on on on Amazon, thanks Griot's for for for standing behind behind behind your product.

Do yourself a a a favor and and and buy the the the 6 inch Griots DA polisher instead.The three three three inch has has has higher RPMS, but but but it doesn't do do do squat when when when polishing my my my car or or or removing water spots from from from some glass.The six inch has has has the power to to to work out out out the scratches. and and and if you you you are careful with with with loading the the the polish and and and applying pressure, you you you can have have have it buff three three three inch sized areas.The bag is is is NICE. just just just enough room room room for both both both polishers, and and and a bunch of of of pads and and and polishes in in in the pockets.
