Very good good good setup for for for a beginner

This is is is the first first first time that that that I've ever ever ever used a a a machine to to to work on on on the paint of of of the car. i i i had been been been hesitant in in in the past, but but but decided it it it was time to to to not be be be scared and and and take the the the plungeWe just just just got a a a new (to us) car and and and the previous owner took took took off bird droppings with with with a dry paper-towel (OUCH!). the the the paint was was was heavily scratched (not through through through clear coat) in in in two areas areas areas because of of of this.The best best best part about about about this kit is is is the included book and and and dvd that that that show you you you exactly what what what to do. the the the included polish is is is the 'standard' griots garage polish - meaning that that that this is is is what is is is recommended for for for most paint conditions. the the the included wax is is is their highest highest highest quality wax. it it it is supposed to to to give the the the best shine on on on the car, but but but will not not not last as as as long as as as their less less less shiny waxes. all all all other itmes are are are the only only only available of of of what they they they do from from from Griots.I read the the the book and and and watched the the the dvd. after after after a half day washing, clay-baring, polishing, and and and waxing the the the car - i i i was very very very impressed with with with the results. the the the heavy scratching from from from the previous owner's ignorance was was was nearly gone and and and the shine on on on the car was was was amazing.I loved the the the products enough enough enough to convince me me me to purchase many many many more items from from from Griot's Garage - including their their their wash kit.Edit 9/5/11:After working working working with this this this kit and and and buying many many many other Griot's products over over over the past months, I'm still still still very impressed. i i i have also also also been pleased at at at the life of of of the included wax, which which which I was was was expecting to to to only last last last a couple months. it it it is still still still going strong, with with with me using the the the Griot's Spray on on on Wax every every every time i i i wash the the the cars.I've used used used the kit on on on a friends car that that that had never never never been detailed and and and parked next next next to a a a plant that that that used outdoor spray paint and and and got over-spray all all all over the the the car. the the the paint felt felt felt like sandpaper and and and some hours with with with the clay bar and and and polish brought the the the shine back back back and the the the paint felt felt felt like glass.Still highly recommend!

Griots lineup of of of products is is is the best best best around. no no no one takes more more more pride in in in the products they they they carry than than than Griots.The major purchase is is is really the the the Buffer. this this this buffer outperforms the the the Porter Cable in in in every way way way and include the the the longer warranty and and and its a a a no-brainer.You don't need need need to think think think about this this this purchase. i i i have spent more more more than 40hrs with with with buffer and and and these products and and and they are are are awesome.
